A Whole New World

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s here. Yaaayyy, I’m finally launching my new website. I’m really excited because I have a few new things happening this year. For one, this blog. Now, as you may know or not, it’s hard out there for a blogger (and a pimp apparently). Coming up with ideas, topics and headlines, getting it all down then repeating 2-3 times a week is no easy feat. Some bloggers write daily, some write twice a day, some write 2-3 times a week…whew, this is already overwhelming me.

My goal, for starters, is to update this blog once a week and gradually work my way to twice a week. My question to you is, what do you want to read about? Please let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment below. And, don’t forget to check back in weekly.

  • great blog

  • I hear ya. Blogging is a commitment and sometimes I do find it difficult to come up with topics I think readers will relate to. To try and up the odds that I’ll have something to say every week, I try and take notes of conversations I’ve overheard, ideas I’ve picked up, articles I’ve read, even arguments I’ve had. These can frequently be tied into something on my blog. Can’t wait to see what topics you decide to talk about!

Thanks Marcia for the advice. Love your idea about taking notes of overheard conversations.

  • I know exactly how you feel. It’s so worth it at the end. Just remember that you’re the expert and we’re eager to learn more about what you have to offer. Looking forward to your next blog.

Congratulations Tanzie!  Your site looks beautiful — so fresh and clean, perfect as a backdrop to your great headshots ;-))  One great secret I’ve heard for developing blogging ideas is to look at chapter headings in books that are relevant to your target market, and write about those topics. Best of luck!

    •  Ahhh, great tip on blog ideas Ann! Thanks re: website too. I’m just getting started, have much, much more to come.

  • Congrats Tanzie–Your photography is beautiful and so is the site, very user friendly and modern. I am looking forward to seeing what topics you offer that would be relevant to an entrepreneur like myself. Whatever it is, I am sure it will be great!
